Dead Rising 3: 7 Facts in 7 Days: Day 5
Well, we know one thing. Dead Rising 3 is going to be huge. Did you ever find yourself getting lost in Dead Rising 1‘s shopping mall or even the large Vegas strip of Dead Rising 2? Well, plan to get lost again within Los Perdidos. According to Mike Jones and Josh Bridge, the world in Dead Rising 3 is going to be massive. Take the map of the first and second game and you can fit it within the map of Dead Rising 3 several times over. Yesterday, I brought up the fact that Dead Rising 3 has zero loading screens; and that is what makes this so impressive. Here is to hoping that Capcom can pull it off. If they do manage to make this happen; this launch title could be the one everyone is talking about this holiday.
When Dead Rising released back in 2006, it not only impressed millions with its humor/horror tones, but with its size and density as well. The first time you saw 300 zombies on screen at once was quite impressive. It showcased what the Xbox 360 was capable of and Dead Rising 3 could do the same for the Xbox One. The mall had so many stores, outfits and weapons to choose from, it was mind boggling. On top of that, Dead Rising 2 managed to up the ante even further. Dead Rising 2 was not only bigger, it brought in the customization of weapons. With the combinations of clothing and weapons in the hundreds, things never got old. I believe you can pull it off Capcom. I believe.
